Where to?

Guest post from: Denver Stephens

Traveling is a lifelong passion of mine, mostly because I really like to paint. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I love to sit on the street corner in some foreign city and sketched the sites I see, only to take my sketches home and paint them for posterity. I usually plan most of my trips online as I have found that this is the easiest way to find the best deal as well and avoid the hassles of having to deal with a travel agent. I'm thinking about going on a cruise this year, which would be a first for me, but I'm sure the sites are just absolutely like ! nothing else. I'm considering either Greece or possibly Alaska, polar opposites for sure, but both with their unique sets of pluses and minuses. Who knows where I'll end up going, but whichever destination is, I'm really hoping to get some great artwork out of the whole deal. Hey, maybe I could even sell some of my art to help fund this next big trip!

Ken Lee

Thanks to my cousin Babe for passing this hilarious vid to me. It does makes my day since blogosphere is too quite today. Actually, i am learning the Bulgarian version of Ken Leee.. which is originally tittled as "without you" by Mariah Carey. This video is awesome. thumbs up to this woman for having a guts of expressing her love to this song despite the fact that she don't know the lyric very well. It reminds me of ALyssa Alano's issue back in 2006 where she sings "Keys Me" (Kiss Me) in a crowd. In fairness, that makes her famous and so this bulgarian girl. Probably best choice if you want to be famous too...Ken Leee...Tulibu dibu douchoooo!!

The video i provided above is the music video of Marie Digby singing her original composition "Say It Again". I just can't get this music off from my mind today that's why i posted it out here. The rhythm and its lyrics are here circulating my mind- it's always singing. Obviously, i like this song so much and wishing i could sing it like Marie Digby. (its not going to happen>>) I was watching here videos on youtube whole day. She had some kind of contest for anyone who likes to make a rendition of this song which is a good idea though. She is giving away a brand new guitar with her signed in it. I say, there are quite few of people attempt to be like her..lol men or women but unfortunately, i have no plan at all. I will buy her debut album pretty soon. I hope its not that much..hehhe!!

Jeepney

The picture you have seen above is called jeepney in the Phillipines. This is the mose popular means of public transportation. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have also become a symbol of Philippine culture

Jeepneys can take people to anywhere that a boat cannot take them. The unique thing about jeepneys is that no jeepney is exactly the same as another. Each jeepney is a testament to the artistic ability of the designer assigned to it. It always has decorations with different and bright colors, illustrations and anything that came to the mind of an artist.

Looking at this picture makes me think that i am in the Philippines. I used to ride them everyday going to school or in the cities. Truly its fun..i just realized it now. How i wish i can ride a jeepney right now!!
